The TEMPEST Analysis System (TAS) provides audio, video and digital analysis using existing analog TEMPEST receivers.  The TAS digitizes the analog output of the receiver and a monitor signal using a small USB 3.0 digitizer module.  A notebook computer running the TAS software provides virtual instruments on the notebook display.  The raw data can be saved for later processing and the CRT images can be saved as bitmaps for reporting.  The use of a COTS acquisition module and a COTS notebook computer provides a portable, low-cost solution for TEMPEST analysis.
